The American Canadian Tour Championship Late Models will open up the 2024 racing season on April 13th at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH for the Northeast Classic. The ACT stars first saw the Magic Mile on September 19th, 2009 for the ACT Invitational, where The “Outlaw” Eddie MacDonald found his way to victory lane for the first ever ACT event on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The Stars and Cars of the ACT Late Models would return in 2010 on NASCAR Cup Series weekend for the second ACT Invitational, where Hudson New Hampshire's Joey Pole Jr. would shoot down the front stretch for his first ACT win on the big stage. The Vermont based series made two trips in 2011 with the first race coming in August for the ACT All-Star Challenge, with Brian Hoar taking the win. MacDonald would find victory for the second time in September during the ACT Invitational 50 lapper.
Ray Parrent, Wayne Helliwell Jr., and Woody Pitkat would find victory lane at the Magic Mile as Eddie MacDonald would sail to the winner's circle three more times from 2012 to 2017. After the Invitational events came to an end the Tour made their return to the track in 2020 after not competing on the 1 mile long speedway since the 2017 season. The American Canadian Tour would be a part of the 2020 Full Throttle Weekend and Wayne Helliwell would make his second trip to the NHMS victory lane.
In 2021 Jimmy Hebert won the first annual Northeast Classic 50 at the Magic Mile. In 2022 and 2023 North Dartmouth MA, Derek Gluchacki would go back-to-back in ACT wins. The ACT Late Models return in 2024 on April 12th and 13th for the 4th annual Northeast Classic. Will Gluchacki go three in a row or does one of the other superstars sail to NHMS Victory Lane!
